The ideal 1/10 scale RC car for off-road adventures
Authorized by Toyota, the 1/10 Land Cruiser 80 from FMS Models uses the FCX10 crawler chassis, which faithfully recreates the off-road performance of the original car.
To ensure durability, the body is made of PC material and equipped with mirrors and waders. Through the transparent windows you see a detailed driver, a refined dashboard and a cockpit interior. The roof is equipped with a luggage rack and four off-road lights, while a climbing ladder is mounted at the rear. The vehicle comes with pre-installed headlights, front, side and rear turn signals, reversing lights and other lighting components. The bodywork uses a magnetic interface to draw power from the chassis so that the entire vehicle's lighting can be activated with one button on the remote control. In addition, fenders have been installed to prevent mud from getting onto the body and chassis.
The entire chassis uses the common front center drive layout with four-link suspension. The mid-front engine and transmission, as one unit, have a lower center of gravity compared to similar products, resulting in a lower roll center and reduced risk of rollover. In addition, metal waterproof servo motors are placed on the side of the battery compartment to switch between high and low speeds.
In terms of ease of use and daily maintenance, FMS has thought carefully about this. The battery compartment can be folded back or quickly released. The electronic equipment is centrally located in the chassis, which facilitates maintenance, removal or replacement. FMS has designed an innovative button-like quick-connect structure and at the same time the power and signal cables of the lighting are perfectly integrated with the magnetic module.
